Transfer Domain

I must record down the step now, if not I would forget all again and again. This already is second or third time I am doing transfer domain but I still cannot remember what to do next. hai..

1) make sure the email address in current registrar is your address.
2) Turn off Privacy registration and unlock the domain.
3) Go back to New registrar website to reinstate if you changed email or want to resend the transfer email.
4) Get the Transaction ID and Security Code in the email as below.

5) Copy and paste in new registrar website authorization section to start transfer progress.

6) Then you have to go back to old registrar to approve the transfer manually. (shown as below picture)

6) After approved – registrar no longer show as old registrar name.

7) Then.. Process is done. Go back to new registrar website to check the status.

Feeling Unfair

Why some of the blog able to maintain their PR even them doing so many paid post in the blog? I have already no think about so call PR thingy for quite some times. A friend asked me something about blog again today, and I just discovered that one of the blogger who is very active in marketing still maintain it PR2/3 blog even so many paid post there.

*sign* unfair to those blog that didn’t write paid post huh? Opps…I am not complaining but I am envy

Auto Backup For WordPress Blog

I am using the auto WordPress Database backup plugin since few months ago. This really a big help for me. I have no fear if anything happen to my blog anymore because I have set the plugin to auto backup my blog everyday.

If you worry have not much space to store your database backup, then I will suggest you to get signup an email account and specially to store your backup. You could set the plugin, auto backup and delivery the backup to the email. It just easy as 123 to do the setting.

Here is the backup table. All these will be included in the backup.

The backup option allow you to select either save the database to the server (not recommend), download to you computer or email the backup to the email address you place in the column.

Note : I am not using this…look at the final option at below.

This is what I am using now. I set it the scheduled backup at once a day and sent the backup to me by email. So that I could store the backup in my email.

I do not worry and keep remind myself to backup the blog after installed this plugin. Save my time.

Wordpres 2.5 Released!

Wow..Wordpress 2.5 is here! I thought still have to wait for few weeks but they already release the latest version yesterday. Is time to upgrade the wordpress version again. I cannot wait to try their few features and I hope that all those new features would be user friendly. The important is I hope this would be a bug free version; I do not want to upgrade another improved version few days after. Too lazy to keep upgrading. :p

How To Block IP Address Using Control Panel

I finally found the most easy way to Block IP address using linux control panel. Here is the simple step.

Logon to your linux control panel then searchfor the IP Deny manager Icon that control Block of IP address.

Click on the IP Deny Manger.

Then, type the IP address you want to block and add will do.

here is a sample on how to use the IP address

60.51.111.67 – single IP address

60.51.121. – block IP address range from 60.51.121.0 – 60.51.121.255

How To Add Forwarder Email To Domain Email

I have few different domain email address. Management those email account could be very painful if you do not use forwarding features. Could you imagine how hassle it be to log on to different email account every day? And you might need to check the email more than once a day!
Usually I will set the forwarding features in the domain when I create an email address. I will forward all the email to my mail email account, so that all email will reach me with one log in only. Here is the step to add the forwarding email.

Log on to the domain control panel and click on the Mail Icon.

Then select the FORWARDERS.

type the email you want the email go to in the column and click ADD FORWARDER.

Here is the bigger screenshot. Key in your email address and the email you want to receive allt he email. That’s all!

Will Test on Block IP Address Code

I am searching for the code to block particulars IP address now. You should know what I am wanted to do with the code right? haha..of course is block someone and get her off from visit my blog.

I don’t not have time to test all the code yet. So far, I already collect the code for .php file, .htaccess and through control panel. I will try later to see which one work btter

Although I already heard many about link popularity since I started to cari wang online. But I do not know how to check link popularity and also do not know how many backlink I have. Previously I thought the back link is only count in Google until I done the search at http://www.siteometrics.com/link-popularity.php.

I have to submit my blog to MSN and Altavista. I do not want the big ZERO show in their search. Btw, link popularity results show as below, is consider good or bad??
