I have downloaded the vixy.net converter desktop version (beta) to test after used its website to convert FLV video. I thought the desktop version would work faster than the online FLV converter. However, I was wrong. I tried to download the same FLV video at the same time using the desktop version and online converter. Surprisingly the online version is much faster than the desktop version.

I am using this Screen Hunter to capture screen shoot very long time already. I think it is very useful and very easy to use too. And the most important is it comes with FREE download! I just discover how to set the mini media player! I am definitely a slow bossom, now only know how to set it.

Here is the step how to switch Windows Media Player to mini Player mode.

Of course, you have to start the Windows Media Player first.

Then, right click on the windows taskbar, go to toolbar and select Windows Media Player will do.

Done! Here is the display of mini Windows Media Player. You just have to click on the maximum to open the original display size of media player.

I can say that my computer knowledge is very minimal. Well, of course I can type and I can surf the internet. I do know the basic stuffs about computer. I know what to do when I am connected to the internet. I might say that I am already a blogoholic, addicted to doing blogs. Oh ya…I was talking about my computer knowledge. The program that I use the most is Word. That is where I type all my thoughts, opinions and even office works. I might say that Word is one of the only few programs that I know well. I can even use Word to do some art work, adding some pictures here and there. And I always send my Word file through emails. The problem that I have is that these Word file that contains pictures are big in size and takes a long time to upload and send through email. Some email services have quotas on the size that can be attached to the email.

It is because of this need to send big files through email that I use PDF program. It is easy to send files in PDF form. And when someone else has to send big files to me, I would ask them to send it in PDF form too. The main problem with PDF files is that you cannot edit it freely like in Word. One solution is to buy a good but expensive PDF program where you can edit the file in PDF file itself. However, this might not be economical if the need to edit in PDF file is not urgent or important. Another option is to use the pdf2txt software and then convert pdf to word via plain text. This would be a better choice for me as I can freely convert pdf to word and do the editing in Word without spend too much. I’m starting to how to use Adobe Illustrator few months ago, before this I have no idea what is this software used for. I’m quite headache on finding a suitable Audio Converter to convert the song I love from CD to mp3. Usually I will convert the music song the mp3 file when I found the music song I like.
