Poslaju New Fuel Surcharges

Published by msaufong under Online Business, Tips & News

Poslaju having 10% fuel surchaRges with effective on 1st March 2007 on all the dosmetic shipment (including Sabah & Sarawak)!

I just read it from Pos office. They are increase the charges without any notification but only a piece of memo stick on the post office. Which I might not see it if no pay attention! They not even announce on their Post Website!

From now on, we have to pay another 10% fuel surcharges. The calculation is like below : -

(Postage charges + 5% gorvement tax) x 10%

RM4.50 + 5% = RM4.73 + 10% = RM5.20

And you are paying additional RM0.47 now.

New Poslaju Pack Envelope

Published by msaufong under Online Business, Tips & News

I saw some new Poslaju envelope at Kajang Poslaju collection office. It is a a$ size envelope which similar with Pos Express. But the cost is RM2.00 and RM3.00 only..the staff told me all is sold out, otherwise I must get some lah..Then she said now only available at KL Head Office.

I haven’t check it out yet, since the envelope doesn’t fit my item oso..:p ..But i think for someone who used to send flat or light weight item should be very useful. And save cost too..

The disadvantage of Using Poslaju

Published by msaufong under Online Business, Tips & News

The disadvantage of sending item through Poslaju is the delivery boy or post office won’t give you a call to confirm that there is someone in the house/office to receive the item. Unlike others courier services company, they will call to make sure you at delivery place to receive the item.
If you are in toilet / sleeping / gossip or whatever that make you didn’t hear the delivery boy “hon” you in the van / motorcycle.Or you may went out for a second to do your emergency jobs. Then you have to collect the item all by urself! They will just leave you a memo to inform you that they been there on the time you are not around. I bet they won’t wait more then 2 minutes in front of the house.

1 of my buyer who stay at Sarawak complaint to me before. Regarding the Poslaju services and make her decided not to use it anymore. Because she stay in quite kampung place. And she got an experience of have to drive 10 MILES from her house to the Poslaju collection center. Just because the postman delivered the item at the time she went out for lunch!

Buying Stuff at eBay

Published by msaufong under Online Business, Tips & News, eBay

Seem like many Malaysian not dare to buying at eBay.com.my..some comment I received look very curious how I bought my camera from there..

ok let me share some of my experience from buying stuff there …

To be more secure, wat I’m going to do before bid on the item are..

1) check seller feedback (from buyer)- see is there any negative feedback and click on the item 1 by 1..see is there any feedback on the item u wanna to buy..

2) check seller others sales item - can see what kind of thing he/she selling…more or less know seller

3) ask the seller from ebay link/by email EVERYTHING u wanna to know about
~ product spec, quality, with or without & etc
~ postage & shipping fees
~ Others Charges

after confirm the seller is can trust (if you feel tat) and satisfied on the item descriptions & seller response, then I will place a bid on the item….

Then just wait for the bidding time end..after that The seller will email u regarding the winning item and request for payment.. and u need to..

1) bank in the payment, using maybank2u or others online transfer are faster..

2) inform the seller regarding ur payment bank in, if possible sent the payment detail oso ..

3) wait for the arrival of ur winning item…

wat u can do if kena con..

1) Report to ebay..eBay will suspend seller account if found seller have breached the User Agreement.

2) Leave negative feedback on seller - this will effect their business mah..buyer will scare if see negative feedback on seller ..worry will get con..

But for sure u kenot claim back ur money…so better don bid for expensive stuff if u have no confidence with the seller…

At the began I onlyl bid for cheap cheap thing..like baby/toddler cloth ahh..I get some for SQ for just RM5.00 Disney romper..new with tag somemore…

and usually I will do calculation on those item until ‘grass died’ (计死草) .. will only bid if i found it’s cheaper then buying from outside lor..

By the way..above just my opinion..I’m still very NEW at eBay…if kena con don’t blame on me..…Being a seller, I definitely won’t con my buyer..coz I wanna to do long terms business online wan

How Do I Write A Product Description

Published by msaufong under Tips & News

Writing a product descriptions really tough for me, I’m gotta admit tat my poor english are not good enough to attracting buyer. And I can’t express good in english too..

So how to I write those descriptions? Mostly I will searching the same product from net, then copy and paste into my listing. Of coz I have to double check the product feature or others related functions. Coz I don’t want to cheat buyer.

I will edit the description to suit my product. And trying to add someting which kenot find in net.

So far so good, nobody complain my listing untrue..:p
