I use Norton anti-virus, it seems to be pretty good. my computer slows down when it gets tired, but i don’t think a anti virus software would do that - unless you are scanning your entire hard drive for viurses, then it can slow down your other programs that are running.
I prefer Kaspersky,i install NOD32 one times now 3 months and in 1h my windows had been crushed, i hate NOD32 :), i’m steel a fun of kaspersky
I would suggest you to use QUICK HEAL antivirus total security. It keeps your computer safe and has better scaning speed.I am using it for 1 year and had no trouble and planning to renew it for next 3years.
Of course. Its better to be safe than sorry. Malicious viruses and worms are just lurking around. Btw, im using a Kaspersky! one of the best. At office, i use NOD32, but hard to configure.
I used Quickheal total security. It works fine with no problems. Used to use Norton but didn’t like the slow scans. My office uses McAfee which is good, but in my opinion not as good as Quickheal. Moreover its cheaper.
For those looking for a reliable antivirus, if you want something FOC, download Avast or AVG (I heard Avast is better, but I haven’t used either). If you want better protection (willing to pay $$) go for Quickheal (from my experience its superb) or Kaspersky (my cousin uses it and says its good, I’ve never used it).
U can find it all at download.com. For the ones with non-FOC licence, you can download a free trial version (usually 14 or 30 days).
