How Many Credit Cards I Have
Let me see what kind of credit card I have now. I have two 0% credit cards from different bank, two cash bank credit cards, and one rewards credit card. I think is somewhat normal for a working person own more than three credit cards. Most of the reason will be because of I’m too lazy to compare credit cards and make a smart decision before apply the credit card. So ended up applied more than one for the same type of card.
I actually don’t mind to keep so many credit cards; it’s quite useful for me actually. Especially when I need to pay for deposit for emergency case and don’t want to bring too many cash to go out. However, I will make sure the cards are free from annual fee, so that I could keep them without paying a cent. Most of the bank request cardholder to spend at least 2 to 3 transaction in a year to qualify for waive of annual fees. So, you just use the credit card like normal for 2 – 3 time then call the customer services request for waive of annual fees. That is how I keep the five credit cards without spending too much of cost.
