Protect Yourself From Fraudulent Emails (PayPal)
You gotta becareful on all the email sent by paypal or any bank. Too many fraudulent email out there. Although most of the email are able to filter into your spam filter, but some of it still will reach your inbox safely.
I was a bit lucky because I used to take it serious for all the email I received from Paypal and never click any link provided in the email. I will only log in to paypal account with OPEN A NEW BROWSER and type the url by myself. Anything related to paypal will show in your account.
I received below notification of Limited Access Email : -

Here some tips you can find in Paypal Website on how to protect yourself from Froudulent Emails.
- Safe Log In: To log in to your PayPal account or access the PayPal website, open a new web browser (e.g., Internet Explorer or Netscape) and type in the following: https://www.stage2qa001.paypal.com/j1/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/email-security
- Greeting: Emails from PayPal will address you by your first and last name or the business name associated with your PayPal account. Fraudulent emails often include the salutation “Dear PayPal User” or “Dear PayPal Member”.
- Email Attachments: PayPal emails will never ask you to download an attachment or a software program. Attachments contained in fraudulent emails often contain viruses that may harm your computer or compromise your PayPal account.
- Request for Personal Information: If we require information from you, we will notify you in an email and request that you enter the information only after you have safely and securely logged in to your PayPal account.
Forward the email to spoof@paypal.com if you think you have received a froudulent email. I done that and get reply within 5 mins time and informed me that the email I received above is a real fraudulent email. Lucky I suspected and didn’t click any link in the email.
