Published by msaufong at 7:43 am under Blogging Tips, Webmaster

I never know that the add on Domain in my hosting package are so useful! Do check if your hosting package including any add on domain service? If yes, then congratulation. You are now are free to host for another new domain. You can have a totally different domain name associated with a subdirectory/subdomain within your primary domain’s hosting account.

I just learn that set up the add-on domain (example : myhomerecipe.com to point to newmyhomerecipe.msaufong.com. Which main when people visit your blog / website at myhomerecipe would actually be seeing newmyhomerecipe.msaufong.com. And the url would appear as ‘myhomerecipe.com’ in their browser.

How to create a Add-on Domain?

Go to your control panel -> click addon domain -> key in New Domain name, subdomain Name and password. Then Add Domain.

Now you can access your blog at myhomerecipe.com/wp-admin or newmyhomerecipe.msaufong.com/wp-admin.
