Free SMS From Email To Mobile Phone

Published by msaufong at 2:05 pm under Internet Related

I read it from newspaper that we can send sms to mobile phone using email actually. So I did a tried just now using gmail. Surprisingly Its working.

But the problem is…its only working on sms send to 019, 013 and 0148 only. Which is under Celcom Mobile Networks. And the sms must send in PLAIN TEXT form.

Try it yourself! Type in the handphone no. follow by @sms.celcom.com.my.

Example :

019xxxxxxx@sms.celcom.com.my

For different wireless phone services, there are so many other international phone companies to choose from. Its definitly convienent to have an international phone to make those long distance calls and you can find a wireless international cell phone that is resonably priced rather than using an international cell phone rental.

I tried it on my own Celcom subscription (013xxxxxxx@sms.celcom.com.my)

and waited tell next day morning; and I did not receive any of the SMS I sent. through, I sent it via yahoo.com and gmail.com.

I know that number that starts with 013 were of TMtouch services. but I wonder if Celcom have really integrated it with its other services offers.

The government has been blocking untraceable SMSses ever since the Hindraf has been sending seditious emails which contain rumors and racist propaganda. Thanks to them (both) now life is a bit less easier.

Lately I have been trying to find any kind of information for my project, but unsuccessfully. Now it seems like I finally found a lot. This is the greatest site among all internet-sources.
