I think this post will be useful for someone didn’t know how to set up subdomain, I learn it from Chooi Peng.

1st login to your host control panel.

Then click on the Subdomain Icon.

Add a name (abc) for your subdomain url and click add. Go back to the main page after you successful created a subdomain.

Then look for the MySQL Databases Icon and click it.

Create a new database (abc-db) for the new sub-domain.

Then, go back to the MySQL Databases and add a user to your databases. You can either create a new user or just use your old user info by ‘Add User To Database’. That is.

Then you just continue to download wordpress from Wordpress.org and upload the file to the new sub-domain and install it. Installation instruction read here.
